GENERAL RULES
-- Be nice, please. Try not to move anyone's characters without their permission, don't be a Super Mary Sue, try to avoid the self-insertion disease, be courteous ooc, etc. Basically, everything you learned in role-playing kindergarten.

-- If you've got a problem with another member, don't be afraid to approach one or both of the mods. We can try and help you fix whatever's wrong, before it turns into a big drama llama. On the same note, if you have a problem with the game.. tell us! :P We don't eat people around here, promise.

-- Big plots need a mod's okay before they can go through. Pregnancies, rape, death, disease, new mutations, etc. If you're not sure, ask!

CHARACTERS & APPLICATIONS
-- There is NO CHAR LIMIT! We'll be watching though, if you pick up a lot of characters. It's sort of worthless to pick up a ton and then never do anything with them except cockblock other people from using their pbs.

-- The pb that you have picked when your application is submitted- barring any conflicts with ones already taken or held- is the one you stick with unless there is a specific reason for you to request a change. Changes are allowed only at mod discretion, but playing musical pbs is not allowed here.

-- After a character drop / move to NPC status, there's a two-week wait before you can pick another up. This also applies to new people in the game, because if you pick up a ton of characters and decide a week later you hate us omgwtf, it would suck to have to replace a toooon of characters.

--Once you've been approved (and NOT before that's one thing we pet peeve about), you need to comment to the post here with your ooc information so we can get you on the contact chart, and here with ic information. If you want a specific picture used on the character chart, feel free to make one and pass it on to us- they're all 80x80px (78 with a 2px border). Also it's a good idea to throw up an post in the ooc community introducing yourself just so everyone knows who you are when you start posting, and make sure that your character's bio or a link to your characters bio is accessible from the journal's user info page or somewhere else on the journal.

ACTIVITY
-- Each player is required to do one log, rp thread, or narrative once a month. Of course we encourage (and prefer) you to post as much and as often as you want above and beyond that, but that's the bare minimum. Activity checks will be done once a month just to let everyone know where they stand, and after two months of inactivity without contacting the mods as to why means you're up for removal from the game.

-- For any extended periods in which you know you won't be active (for school, work, moving, whatever the case may be. We all have real lives, of course), the mods need to be notified so that we won't assume you're just being inactive for no reason. Hiatuses are perfectly fine whenever you need them, our only requirement is that you LET US KNOW. (Plz do not make Ten cranky, guyz.)

CHARACTER RESTRICTIONS
Here are some restricted powers and concepts to keep in mind. This definately applies to original characters but exception might be made for canon ones (talk to a mod first though, as the answer will generally be a negatory):

-- The famous/super wealthy: No seriously, unless it's canon, try and avoid it.
-- Amnesia cases.
-- Characters with mental disorders.
-- Omegas.
-- Aliens.
-- Psionic immunity.
-- Time/dimensional travellers.
-- The Runaways. They're allowed, kinda. Talk to a mod if you're interested.

What does this leave?
-- Anything animal-like.
-- Physical mutations.
-- Gestalt powers.
-- About a million other things! Think outside the box. :)
